Fishery Information
You would love Shireoaks Lakes if you are looking for a fishing site that features Kent‘s picturesque countryside. This venue is popular to both pleasure and serious carp anglers. It consists of three beautiful lakes, but the top lake in the woods is closed. However, the other two are open all year round.
The first pond, which has a lovely surrounding with an old monastery building to the left, contains more carp than the other. On the other hand, the middle pond has a quiet and lovely surrounding. It is frequently used for match fishing and known to have bigger carp than the first one. The lakes’ depth varies between 3 feet and 10 feet.
Both ponds are well-stocked with bream, mirror carp, common carp, chub, roach, rudd and tench.
Day tickets for adult (2 rod limit) and juniors (under 15) are available on site.
They do not allow groundbait (except in feeder), dead baiting, live baiting, hemp, method feeder, nuts and tares on site. Boilies are allowed on hooks only.
