Fishery Information

Situated in Norfolk, Barford Lakes offers excellent fishing to the keen Carp angler. The site comprises of a picturesque lake, which boasts numerous fishing features. The lily pads and long reeds add to the serene atmosphere, as well as offering privacy for the angler. Moreover, the mature trees that surround the permitter off a home to various birdlife species.

Crucially, there are many spacious pegs across the location, several of which are full accessible to disabled anglers.  Additionally, the venue has become notorious among local anglers because of the wide range of Carp that are on offer. Additionally, the waters also house numerous Bream, Tench, Perch and Roach.

What size do the fish go to?

Tench, Bream, Roach and Perch generally weigh between 2 and 8 lbs. Also, Carp are commonly landed in double figures, with the larger specimen reaching double figures.

What tactics work well?

Pegs 1, 10-12, 16, 17 and 24 are rumoured to be the most productive. Also, utilising pellets and boilies during the summer can be helpful. Furthermore, using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms can help to entice the larger Carp.
