Black Loch Fishery is a fly fishing-only facility situated in Limerigg, south of Falkirk at the heart of Central Scotland. The 124-acre loch is one of the newest and largest boat and bank fly fishing facilities in the region.

What size do the fish go to?

The fishery is stocked on a weekly basis with several types of trout, including Brown, Rainbow, and Hard Fighting Blues. The loch provides excellent opportunities to catch these trout of varying sizes.

What tactics work well?

As a fly fishing-only facility, anglers are advised to use fly fishing tactics to catch trout. For best results, fishing with nymphs, dry flies and lures can prove successful.

What facilities are on site?

Black Loch Fishery offers a range of facilities to ensure that anglers have an enjoyable experience. The fishery provides bank fishing and boat fishing options.
