Capstone Farm Country Park Information

Founded in 2004, Capstone Farm Country Park is part of the Medway Valley fisheries. The location presents a tremendous mixed fishery boasting healthy stocks of Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Eels. The lake is 4 acres in size, with an average depth of 6ft.

There are 20 available swims where a maximum of 8 members may fish at any one time.

What size do the fish go to?

Commons and Mirrors can weigh in over 36lbs, as well as Ghost Carp at 23lbs. The average range of fish tend to weigh in between 25lbs and 30 lbs.

What tactics work well?

Using the feeder with sweetcorn or worms tends to produce good results for Bream and Carp. In the warmer months, using pellets and boilies may also be beneficial.

What facilities are on site?

The on-site café with toilet facilities is available 7 days per week from 10am to 6pm. The area boasts outdoor exercise equipment, educational areas, and a children’s play area.

Is parking available?

Secure on-site parking is available every day from 6am.

  1. No, nearly every fish was netted out because of predation by locals who think it’s their for them to eat everything that moves😒
    Someone has popped a handful of Kois in recently.
    There is a handful of small Pike and some fry that’s about it.
    The council are on the face of it selling tickets on false pretences.
