Fishery Information

Crook Hall Farm is located in the village of Bispham, in the heart of rural west Lancashire in the North West of England.  Joe’s Pond, Nora’s Pond, and Maggie’s Pond are all well-stocked fishing ponds on the property. These ponds are great for the anglers who prefer to use traditional methods while taking delight in the calm, tranquility, and natural beauty of Crook Hall Farm.

In Maggie’s pond, which is the commercial fishery, you will find a variety of coarse fish such as Common and Mirror Carp as well as F1 and Grass Carp. Chub, Barbel, Roach, Tench, Perch, and Rudd are some of the other species. Joe’s Pond and Nora’s Pond are located approximately 80 yards from the vacation rental cottages.

Among the coarse fish found in both ponds are trophy-quality specimens of Rudd, Perch, Chub and Tench, as well as Koi Carp, Common Carp, Mirror Carp and F1’s. The fishery is open to the general public and it is available at no charge to holiday guests.
