Fishery Information
Only 15 minutes away from Brentwood, the Fryerning Fisheries are well known for their impressive stock of Carp and well-kept lakes. It is a syndicate fishery and, as such, a membership is required to have access to the lakes. Speaking of lakes, there are three that anglers can choose from: Car Park Lake, Main Lake, and Valley Lake.
Thanks to the fishery’s special breeding programme, the lakes come with more than just impressive stock. Anglers have the chance to catch one of the over one hundred 20’s, one of the 100 English 30’s, and one of the 14 fish over 40lbs. The greatest catch is known as Gurmintrude – a 51lbs specimen!
Last but not least, the fishery has an extended set of rules that every angler must respect. For example, bait boats are forbidden and anglers cannot fish without an EAL license. Beginners should do their best to get accustomed to these rules.
What size do the fish go to?
14 Carp specimens of up to 40lbs.
Two Mirror Carp specimens of over 50lbs.
One Rare Leather Carp of over 45lbs.
Common Carp of 50lbs.
100 Carp specimens of 20lbs.
100 specimens of 20-30lbs.
What tactics work well?
Since the stock consists mainly of carp, make sure to pack bread, corn, sweetcorn, boilies, as well as casters and maggots.

Site secured with CCTV cameras and electronic gates.
Anglers Lodge – fishing supplies and drinks.
Deep freezer for food, as well as for bait.
