Easy to reach by way of the A1M and A507, Henlow Bridge Lakes form part of a holiday let and camping complex in a charming spot close to the village of Henlow in Bedfordshire. With four lakes in total, plus a stretch of the River Hiz, this is a popular choice for angling holidays.

Jordan’s Lake and Vincent’s Lake are the main fishing lakes with each featuring plentiful swims. Both offer extra large specially constructed swims suitable for disabled persons and wheelchair users. These lakes are stocked with a good head of carp to fine sizes, as well as good-sized tench.

The smaller lakes – Roger’s Lake and Younger’s Lake – are canal lakes that are well-stocked with native species including carp, gudgeon, bream, roach, perch and many more. These lakes are ideal for novice and younger anglers who require supervision

The lakes are largely surrounded by trees and offer a pleasant place to fish, with day tickets available and night fishing by prior arrangement. All lakes can be booked for private or match fishing as well as by charitable organisations.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp in the main lakes reach up to 30lb with many in double figures, and tench of 5lb. The smaller lakes offer carp up to 10lb.

What facilities are on site?

Henlow Bridge is a fully featured facility that offers a range of camping and glamping holiday lets as well as the fishing lakes. There are full shower and toilet facilities available for anglers, a tackle and bait shop, and the town of Henlow is home to many shops, places to eat, and welcoming public houses.

Is parking available?

There is more than ample parking close to the lakes with designated disabled parking bays included.
