Fishery Information
Highway Farm’s fishing lakes are located in a secluded valley which is a lovely place to spend the day fishing.
There are 2 lakes on the farm which are both spring-fed. Both have a good mix of coarse fish in each lake with lots of different carp which go up to 12lb and some nice tench. Theres also plenty of roach and rudd and you may even catch the odd goldfish.
The good news is that if you are staying on the farm then you get to fish for free!
What size do the fish go to?
Carp up to 12lb
What tactics work well?
Sweetcorn and meat will catch you the bigger fish. Dog biscuits work well in the summer to catch the bigger carp or try a piece of floating bread. If its the small fish you are after then try maggots.
What facilities are on site?
There are toilets on site.
Is parking available?
Yes, theres plenty of parking available.
