Prysor Angling Association controls the fishing on Llyn Trawsfynydd reservoir. Trawsfynydd is a premier trout fishing venue, with a fleet of boats.
What size do the fish go to?
The fishing on Traws is mainly for quality brown and rainbow trout, which are caught regularly into double figures, but rudd, specimen pike to 20lb+ and perch are also present.
What tactics work well?
Any method is allowed, with dead baiting being allowed for the pike at certain times of the year. Fly and lure fishing are allowed all year round.
