It offers fly fishing for Trout, match and family fishing for Carp, Rudd, Roach, and Tench, and specimen Carp fishing for common, mirror, and grass Carp up to 25lbs. The fishery comprises three spring-fed lakes, including a fly lake, a match lake, and a specimen lake.

What size do the fish go to?

The fishery’s diverse offerings include Rainbow and Brown trout up to 15lbs in the fly lake, Carp, Rudd, Roach, and Tench up to 10lbs in the match lake, and common, mirror, and grass Carp up to 25lbs in the specimen lake.

What tactics work well?

Fly fishing works well for Trout in the fly lake. For the match lake and family fishing, a variety of methods can be successful for catching Carp, Rudd, Roach, and Tench. Specimen Carp fishing in the specimen lake requires a specific approach, which includes using bite alarms, pod and butt rests, unhooking mat, freespool baitrunner reels, and a minimum 12lb mainline. Pre-booking is essential for the specimen lake, and overnight fishing is only available to club members.

What facilities are on site?
