Fishery Information

Located in the beautiful Cumbria countryside, Longlands Lake is regarded as a legacy of West Cumbria’s former iron mining industry that existed in 1939. Lying adjacent to the River Ehen between Cleator Moor and Egremont, this water is now part of a small country park and public access area managed by Cumbria County Council. In addition, it provides a quiet refuge for both humans and wildlife.

Managed by the Wath Brow and Ennerdale Angling Association, Longlands Lake has a wheelchair accessible platform and a good number of other casting platforms.

Day permits are available for this fishery.
