Fishery Information

Known as one of the smaller lakes in the English Lake District, Loweswater is the final member of the trio that form the catchment of the River Cocker and the only Western lake that drains to the east.

This water is known for its large trout stock. Other fish species present include roach, pike and brown trout. Fishing on site is controlled by the National Trust. Day tickets are available for this fishery.
