Fishery Information
Specialising in trout and coarse fishing, Middle Boswin Fishery is now a members-only fishery located near the beautiful village of Porkellis. Open all year round, this family run fishery is set in 13 acres of idyllic open countryside. Their most well-established water is their 1-acre coarse fishing lake that is home to common and mirror carp, roach, rudd to 2 lbs, chub to 6 lbs, tench, skimmers, perch and crucian carp. Their trout lake is home to rainbow, brown and blue trout.
Children under the age of 16 are allowed on site, but should be accompanied by an adult. Everyone fishing must have an Environment Agency Licence.
What size do the fish go to?
Rudd go to 2 lbs and chub to 6 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Fish light. Don’t overfeed. Check the margins. Some of the best fish have been caught less than a rod length out.
