Fishery Information

Located in the picturesque Cumbria countryside, Moss Eccles Tarn is a 5-acre man-made lakeland tarn owned by the National Trust and is regarded as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

This fishery is a Windermere, Ambleside & District Angling Association water. The association stock the water on an annual basis. Fish present include brown trout to over 3 lbs.

Please note that boats are not permitted on site. The fishery is open from March to September. Pub residents may fish for free using pub permits.
