Fishery Information

Developed from former gravel workings, Packington Somers Coars Fishery has 13 well-established, natural looking lakes and pools that are set in beautiful and quiet surroundings. Each pool offers diverse sport for both pleasure and match anglers. Day and season tickets are available for this fishery.

This venue is permanently manned and has an onsite lodge that incorporate a café and a tackle shop. There is ample parking at several locations around the fishery. Most pools are disabled friendly.

Molands is a 60-peg match and pleasure lake that holds carp to over 22 lbs, F1 hybrids, tench, bream, roach and perch.

Gearys is an 8-acre, 40-peg match and pleasure lake that holds carp to 20 lbs, bream, roach and crucians.

Little Gearys is a 30-peg match and pleasure lake that holds F1 hybrids, carp, bream, tench and roach.

Anniversaries is a 1.5-acre pool with 24 match and pleasure pegs offering good sport for F1 hybrids, tench, roach, carp and ide.

Redeveloped in 2014, Siblings A & B are canal type match lakes with 40 pegs between them. Both waters hold carp, F1 hybrids, skimmers, tench, ide and barbel.

Gratuities is a 16-peg match and pleasure lake that holds carp, tench, skimmers, crucians and barbel.

Willow is a 13-peg small pool that holds carp to 18 lbs, F1 hybrids, skimmers, tench and crucians.

There are 4 smaller pleasure pools on site called Crescent, Alder, Reedy Bay and First Bay. These waters are heavily stocked and are ideal for both novice and experienced anglers.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp go up to 22 lbs.
