Iron gates adorned with a lion shield are one of the most eye-catching features of the park officially opened for business in 1911.
Fishing is one activity that draws the most people to the park’s pond, which is one of the many attractions found there. Everyone who goes fishing is responsible for adhering to the stringent rules and regulations the council sets. Anyone who fishes with a rod must have a valid rod license and produce evidence of their license if a council official or a water bailiff asks them to do so.
To fish in the pond, you must first purchase a day pass online or at the venue. Annual passes are available too. Children under 12 years are not required to have a pass, but a responsible adult must accompany them on their fishing trips.
