Set in a beautiful, historic location, Rudyard Lake is perfect for visitors who are looking to experience great walks, fishing and boating. This venue provides a dramatic scenery in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Over 500,000 visitors come to the shores each and every year.

Owned by the Canal & River Trust, this 168-acre lake is over 2.5 miles long. Rudyard Lake Ltd. manages the commercial leisure activities on site and employs a full-time ranger to keep watch of the place.

This venue is popular with pleasure and match anglers. It is also popular for its specimen pike. The site holds regular competitions.

Day tickets are available for this fishery. However, members of the Stoke-on-Trent Angling Society are allowed to fish by special arrangement with Rudyard Lake Ltd.. NRA rod licence and appropriate equipment are required for fishing on site.

Fishing boats are available on request.
