Fishery Information

Stanton Lakes, set amid the picturesque South Leicestershire countryside, cover almost 18 acres of water. The fishery is comprised of two well-stocked lakes: a bigger 17-acre specimen lake and a smaller 1.5-acre nursery lake.  All of the swims are easily accessible, and many of them have disabled access via the site’s track. Tickets are available for both day and night fishing.

What size do the fish go to?

Even though the information on the actual size is not available at the moment, the fish in Stanton Lakes are maturing beautifully, with a wide variety reaching respectable weights.

What tactics work well?

Carp fishing can be challenging at times but most bait is effective in luring in the fish. Therefore, you should not be scared to throw a bit in the water because carp are voracious eaters. Pike have a good appetite in any weather, and both sea and course dead baits work well to attract them.

What facilities are on site?

There is a tackle shop and hot meals on site, with an accessible and well-lit modern toilet and shower block. There is a fresh water supply by the entrance and the chemical waste disposal point discreetly placed within the bins area.

Is parking available?

Yes, parking is available.
