Fishery Information

Located in the heart of the Rhondda Valleys on 45 acres of quiet, secluded countryside, Tri-Nant Fishery is comprised of a total of 6 acres of water, which spread across the entire facility. There are three waters available for fishing, with several fish species. 

Ghost, mirror, and common carp, as well as tench, roach, rudd, and bream, are all present in the fishery. The fishery is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day. Prior to visiting the lakes, you must purchase your admission tickets. The lakes are:

Kingfisher Lake, also known as Bottom Lake, is a carp-only lake with 22 pegs. It contains some nice doubles as well as some 20lb plus fish, including a lovely mirror known as “Peggy” that weighed over 21lb caught by a local angler. The largest fish in this vicinity weighed 28lb.

Also known as Top Lake, Mallard Pool is the second body of water. It has 17 pegs and stocked with a variety of fish species including carp, bream, perch, roach, rudd, and tench, amongst others. Carp can weigh up to 20 pounds in this vicinity.

Dragonfly Lake, also known as middle lake, is the smallest of the three bodies of water. It is stocked with a variety of species and is the most accessible of the three. Here you will find 17 fishing pegs with a variety of carp, bream, roach, rudd, chubb, barbel, and perch.
