Fishery Information

The Trippenkennett farm is located in a picturesque part of the countryside and is very popular with day visitors. Fishing is one of the activities that can be enjoyed on the farm, which has been in operation for more than 30 years. 2009 saw the construction of the lakes dedicated to coarse fishing.

The Willow Pleasure Lake was developed with the recreational angler in mind. This lake covers an area of 3 acres and is home to many different kinds of fish, including crucian carp, common carp, mirror carp, tench, bream, and roach. It is perfect for novice anglers or those who want to fish with a family member who is still learning the ropes. Seasoned anglers too find this lake to be enjoyable due to the variety of fish that can be caught there. At its deepest point, Willow is about three meters deep, and wheelchair users will have no trouble maneuvering through it. This lake is accessible to people of varying abilities.

The Oak Carp Lake is slightly smaller than the Willow Carp Lake. It has a surface area of 2 and 3/4 acres and is home to a variety of mirror, crucian, and common carp, some of which can weigh up to 20 pounds. Each of the fish is unique in its own way, and they are all in healthy condition.  You cannot fish in this lake unless you are an experienced angler and have all of the necessary equipment. Oak is just over 3m deep at its deepest part.
