Fishery Information

Located in the vicinity of Danbury Country Park, Twitty Fee Lakes offer up two unique fishing spots. It appears to be overseen by Doe’s Angling Club.

Twitty Fee One, also known as the bottom lake, is about one and a half acres in size. It was dug half a century ago and provides plenty of angling action. Match members love Twitty Fee One for its variety, as it packs plenty of rudd, roach, bream, tench, crucians, and carp.

Twitty Fee Two was dug 25 years ago and amounts to two and a half acres in size. Match weights have come in from this spot of over 120 pounds, with plenty of carp to go around.

The fishing season for Doe’s Angling Club commences on May 1. As of now, there is no entrance fee and membership is open.

What size do the fish go to?

Silver fish, crucians, and perch pulled out of Twitty Fee One range at over two pounds. Common and mirror carp from this lake can clock in at mid double-digits, but the average weight is around four to six pounds.

Twitty Fee Two features a large head of common and mirror carp, with average sizes of six to eight pounds.

Club membership is required to fish both Twitty Fee One and Twitty Fee Two.

What facilities are on site?

There are toilets at Twitty Fee Lakes, but reports suggest visitors may want to check and see if they are working.

Is parking available?

Club toilets are provided at both locations at Twitty Fee Lakes.
