Fishery Information

Victory Quarry Angling Club is a fishing spot in Derbyshire adjacent to Wibbersley Farm and Katy’s Diner. There are two pools—one big and one smaller. The large pool has two shelves with water up to eight feet deep around the edges. The smaller pool has a tiny vertical rock face that is currently about 8 feet deep at one end. Fish found here include Roach, Perch, Bream, Tench, and Carp.

What size do the fish go to?

Fish up to 15 pounds or more are in the main pool. According to the capture results displayed, there were perch weighing up to 4 lb, and roach weighing 2 lb or more roach.

What tactics work well?

On the right day, floating bread and dog biscuits close to the wall can have positive results.

  1. every piece of information here is utter nonsense, it’s never seen a 20ib carp out never mind a 25ib in both lakes if you have a 15ib carp out of any of the lakes that’s special fish for this venue. angler at this location for over 15 years.
