Fishery Information

Designed in the late 1990s, Winfield Lakes comprises 2 waters that cover about 3 acres in total. The average depths of the lakes are between 5 and 6 feet. All fish in the lakes are supplied by the fish farm.

There are 45 pegs on site, with the majority being suitable for disabled anglers. Both lakes are available for match bookings and are home to roach to 1 lb, bream to 2 lbs, ide to 14 lbs, carp to 24 lbs, tench and chub.

The third lake on the venue is not fishable.

What tactics work well?

Since fish in these waters don’t tend to be big, fishing with relatively light tackle provides best results. Popular baits include maggots, meat and bread punch.
