The lake is just 5 acres in size and is home to over 200 big carp with an estimated 95% of those being over 20lb with plenty of 30lb fish being caught. The biggest carp that’s been caught is 48.4lb but it might be bigger than that by now.

What size do the fish go to?

Lots of fish over 20lb with the biggest being 48lb.

What tactics work well?

There is an island in the middle of the lake. If you can get close to here then you are sure to catch. Theres also plenty of reeds around the edge of the lakes which can work really well.

People say that the carp in this lake follow the wind, so fish into a breeze if you can.

Is parking available?

Yes, there are 2 car parks. There is the main car park and the second car park.
