Fishery Information

Cobbleacre Park, located in the open and picturesque countryside of Norfolk, is home to five fishing lakes used for multiple purposes. The fishery is suitable for anglers of all skill levels. You can also book any of the lakes for night fishing.

Adam’s Lake is the most popular lake for fishing. Taking up three acres of Cobbleacre Park with depths ranging from three to seven feet, the lake is home to a variety of fish species including carp, ide, tench, roach, and perch.

Alex’s Lake has a surface area of three quarters of an acre and is the beginner’s lake. It has depths starting at 2 feet and going all the way up to 6 feet. Carp, Tench, Roach, Ide, and Perch are all examples of fish that call this lake their home.

Amy’s Lake is the only match lake spanning 2 and a half acres, oval shaped and depths from 3 feet to 15 feet. It features 34 pegs and is home to some of the smaller fish, including carp, tench, ide, silvers, roach, rudd, and perch. If there aren’t any matches going on at the time, anglers can use their day tickets to fish in this lake.

Gianna’s Lake is a classic recreational lake that spans an area of 1.5 acres and has depths that range from 2 feet to 9 feet. Ideal for the recreational angler, it offers great days of fishing with plenty of opportunities to reel in Carp, Tench, Perch, Ide, Roach, and Skimmers among other species.

Mario’s Lake is the park’s centerpiece and its first creation. It is also the specimen lake and spans an area of 3.5 acres with depths ranging from 5 feet to 13 feet. You should be able to catch Carp, Catfish, and Tench in this location. The lake will only permit ten anglers to fish in it at any given time.

All the lakes are within walking distance of each other and just meters away from other park facilities,
