B.J’s Lake

Address

Asfordby, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire LE14 2NS, United Kingdom

Fishery Information

The Frisby complex contains several lakes, the largest of which is B.J.’s Lake. It is located on the left-hand side of the complex, and you can get there by going through the gate at the end of the left-hand parking lot and turning left. BJ’s Lake was “Left Hand Lake,” but renamed as “BJ’s” to pay tribute to the efforts that the club’s water officers Brian Toon and John Frankland had put in on behalf of the club.

There are large amounts of skimmer, tench, and carp in addition to shoals of high-quality bream and Roach. The lake is mostly shallow, with a few spots in it that are deep. Because there are occasional competitions held on this lake, it is ideal for the recreational angler as well as anyone who wants to land specimen fish.
