Fishery Information
Located in a stunning countryside location near Grantham, Lincolnshire, Belvoir Lakes Fishery offers a fantastic day’s sport to the dedicated Carp angler. The site comprises of three lakes, 2 which span 12 acres and a smaller lake at ¼ of an acre.
The waters host a variety of fishing features such as waterfalls, reeds and overhanging trees. Furthermore, there are ample spacious swims, several of which are fully accessible to the disabled and elderly angler.
Restocking of the lakes occurs on a frequent basis and the venue is home to a variety of Bream, Carp, Perch, Tench, Roach and Carp. Full adult membership costs £350 per year.
What size do the fish go to?
The site is developing so the fish are still growing. However, Carp are frequently caught in double figures, with larger fish exceeding 20lbs. Additionally, a selection of Bream, Tench, Perch, and roach can be found between 2-8lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms helps to entice larger Carp. Also, utilising pellets and boilies can be extremely effective during the warmer months.
