Fishery Information

Located in Derbyshire, Birch House Lakes was created 30 years ago as a part of a family-run arable farm. This venue offers 10 fishing lakes across 15 acres of water. Situated between Brailsford and Ednaston, this fishery occupies 25 acres of natural and landscaped scenery with Brailsford Brook running through the middle of the site.

This fishery is perfect for both pleasure and match anglers and welcomes disabled anglers as well. All lakes on site are professionally maintained and disabled-friendly.

The lakes are home to 13 different fish species including carp to over 30 lbs, tench to 4 lbs, perch to 3 lbs, chub to 1 lb and roach. These species are fished from 200 pegs. There is also an 80-peg silver fish match lake on site.

What tactics work well?

Pole and waggler methods work well for most lakes. Popular baits include pellets, sweet corn, maggots, worm and luncheon meat.
