Set in Byfield, Northamptonshire, Boddington Fishery is a stunning and unique location that offers fantastic fishing to the keen Carp angler. The site stretches across 65 acres, with the waters offering a host of fishing features.

Furthermore, there are numerous spacious swims available, many of which are full accessible to the disabled and elderly angler. Moreover, the mature trees that surround the venue offer privacy, as well as shelter from the elements. Also, the waters are healthily stocked with bream, tench, Roach and Carp.

Opening hours are from dawn until dusk, with both day ticket and match fishing taking place. Adult day tickets start from £8, with discounts being offered to concessions. Importantly, matches should be booked in advance and day passes can be collected from the resident bailiffs.

What size do the fish go to?

Tench, Bream and Roach generally weigh between 2 and 8 lbs. Carp are landed with frequency in double figures, with the larger fish exceeding 20lbs.

What tactics work well?

Standard still water tactics tend to work well. Worms, sweetcorn, and luncheon meat are all popular choices of bait. Also, during the warmer months, anglers typically utilise pellets and boilies.
