Covering 2 acres, Brandesburton 2 Pond is a mature gravel pit that holds a good head of perch and roach. This beautiful and peaceful fishing venue is also home to carp, tench, eel, bream and pike. With regularly maintained paths and swims, this pond offers excellent fishing in comfortable and quiet surroundings.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp to 23 lbs and perch to over 2 lbs.
What tactics work well?
The roach fishing tends to be at its best early in the year when pole-fished maggots can produce some excellent sport. The water has seen the capture of some large perch in the past, with fish up to 3lb 10oz reported – you can’t go far wrong with a good lobworm here.
