Fishery Information

Covering 2.5 acres of water, Brandesburton Burshill B Pond is a mature, fairly shallow fishery that holds a good head of tench to over 6 lbs. Other species present in this water include roach, rudd, pike and carp.

This water becomes very weedy during summer months. The best times to fish for good-sized fish are early mornings and evenings.

This water had a renovation and all swims have been renewed. Extra swims and a new footpath were added to allow easy access around the venue. Road access, car parking and toilet facilities were also improved.

Since this water is among the Association’s Brandesburton Ponds, it is well-protected with otter fences.

To get there, follow these directions. Follow the A165 (Hull to Bridlington) road. On entering the village of Brandesburton, take the first left turn down Hempholme Lane. Follow this road for less than 1 mile. No. 3 & 4 Pond is on the left.
