Burnt Wood Fishery Information

Situated in the heart of the Weald of Kent, Burnt Wood lake is a 1.5-acre mixed fishery with an average depth of 10ft. The bank side cover, overhanging trees, and shallow bays make this spot ideal for the stalker angler.

The lake hosts a healthy stock of Carp, Specimen Bream, Specimen Roach, Rudd, Perch and the occasional Pike.

What size do the fish go to?

The carp come in at an average of 20lb. Bream have weighed in over 7lb, and the lake boasts a healthy quantity of very good-sized perch.

What tactics work well?

Ground bait feeder tactics can result substantial catches of Bream. Boilies and floaters tend to be optimal for catching the carp.

Is parking available?

On-site parking is available only 30 yards away from the bank.
