Fishery Information

Roland House Farm in Smarden, Kent, is home to Sam’s Lakes coarse fishing. It is perfectly level and placed on 20 acres. A tiny Caravan Club site is included in the privately owned two-lake fishery. The fishery has platforms for disabled anglers to fish from.

The Top Lake is 2.5 acres and 8-10 feet deep, while the Bottom Lake is 3 acres and averages 6-7 feet deep. Carp, tench, barbel, rudd, roach, chub, perch, and bream are abundant in the lakes.

Night fishing swims are strictly limited and are only available by prior arrangement.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp to 28lb, Tench to 7lb, Bream to 5lb, Perch to 4lb Crucians to 3lb, Roach to 2lb.
