Fishery Information

Previously closed in 1971, Burwell Brick Pit Fishery is a 38-acre former clay quarry that is home to good sized carp, perch, rudd and pike. New owner Steve Calder and his partners have developed the previously overgrown steep-sided quarry to create 40 spacious, secluded swims. All properly prepared particle baits except peanuts are allowed here. Anglers can use up to 3 rods when fishing. Bait boats are allowed and available to hire. Barbed and barbless hooks are acceptable as well.

If you are looking to fish somewhere undisturbed, this fishery is definitely one of your best bets.
