Managed by the South Somerset District Council and the Chard and District Angling Club, Chard Reservoir is a 48-acre open water that is popular with carp anglers, match anglers, ornithologist and walkers alike. This venue is also a popular night fishing site as the swims are huge and accessible for bivvies. Permits are available on site from a C&DAC member.
Regarded as one of the best bream waters in the country, Chard Reservoir is also home to a good variety of fish species.
