Fishery Information

Bingley Angling Club is responsible for the upkeep of the members-only Coppice Pond, located at St. Ives Road, Harden, in Bingley, West Yorkshire. There are no day passes offered for purchase for this body of water, and only a certain number of permits are available for night fishing.

Access to night fishing is granted solely to syndicate members, and the club is in charge of managing membership. The lake is home to a healthy population of carp and it also provides anglers with excellent opportunities to catch tench. Bream, roach, and perch are some of the other species.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp up to 25lb+

What tactics work well?

Members not in receipt of a Carp Permit are not allowed to use more than one rod at a time – if challenged and found not to have a Carp permit, you will be asked to remove the second rod from the water. You can only use a second rod for Carp fishing if you have a valid Carp Permit from the Club Secretary. Keep nets must be a minimum of 8 Feet long. No Carp over 4lb to be get retained in keep nets.
