Fishery Information

The Ecton Lakes complex is a place of exceptional beauty. Located in the Nene Valley, it spans an area of 100 acres of tranquil nature. The Complex is home to four pristine lakes created in the 1960s as well as one and a half miles of the River Nene. Over the course of the past two decades, the fishing has evolved, much to the delight of an increasing number of anglers.

The Ecton Big Lake has a surface area of 38, and it has an island chain that spans more than 8 acres that runs down the middle of the lake. All the swims are carefully distributed and the islands’ position gives you your own water with minimal interference from other or neighboring anglers.

The Clover is a beautiful and attractive fishery that spans over 5.5 acres and provides convenient access to each of the swims. The lake is an excellent choice for anglers who enjoy a consistent bend in the rod.

The Jigsaw extends across 18 acres and is a true delight carp angler. It features a lot of reed-lined bays, little nooks, and crannies that virtually divide the lake into a series of little lakes, which offers true privacy when you are fishing. Although it is not an easy lake to fish in, the average size of the carp  caught here is exceptionally high, making it well worth the effort.

The Glebe is a small beautiful work of art found at the very top of the complex. The Glebe provides anglers with the opportunity to catch hand-picked carp.
