Located in Somerset, Emborough Pond is a 10-acre lake situated between the villages of Emborough and Ston Easton. Also known as Lechmere Water, this pond is originally a much smaller mill pond and was held by monks on a 51-year lease from 1525. The monks stocked the water with bream, tench, perch and roach, as they were not allowed to eat meat back then.

Now used for carp angling, Emborough Pond is home to carp to 29 lbs as well as a good head of roach and tench.
