Situated in Farington Moss, Leyland, Fairhaven Fishery is a quaint spot that offers ideal sport for both the novice and more seasoned angler. The setting is mature and has been carefully landscaped to give it a very natural feel. There are a variety of fishing features such as reeds, overhanging trees and islands.

The water boasts a healthy stock of carp, as well as Bream, Perch, Roach and Chudd. There are a total of 20 pegs around the venue, ensuring privacy plus easy access for the disabled and elderly angler.

What size do the fish go to?

There is a good head of Carp ranging between 10-15lb, with larger Carp coming in at 20lbs on occasion.

Bream, Perch, Roach and Chudd can be landed within the 2-7lbs region.

What tactics work well?

Using a feeder with worms or sweetcorn can work well. Pellets and boilies should be utilised during the warmer months. Anglers have also found that using luncheon meat can yield fantastic results.

Clean and accessible toilet facilities are available on location. There are also a selection of benches and picnic tables, making Fairhaven Fishery an ideal spout for the family outing.
