Fishery Information
Holmston Hall is set in Rushton which is just outside the lovely Cheshire village of Tarporley.
Here you will find a fishery with 3 lakes which are known as the Carp Pool, The Moat and The Woodland Pool.
Carp Pool
This is the most established lake with fish up to 30lb. There is also tench, bream and crucian carp.
This lake is located right next to the car park, so access to this one is easy.
The Moat
The Moat was built in 2006 and can be found just on the other side of the caravans. It is mainly full of silverfish and F1 carp and offers great sport throughout the year.
The Woodland Pool
This one is furthest away from the car park so if you truly want some peace and quiet this could be the lake for you. It’s the best one for beginners as it’s easy to catch.
What size do the fish go to?
There are carp to 30lb in the carp pool.
What tactics work well?
We recommend using maggots and seeing how you get on.
What facilities are on-site?
As it’s a caravan site there are plenty of facilities on-site including toilets and camping if you wanted to stay overnight.

Yes, parking is available onsite.
