Located in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, Hurst Farm Lakes comprises four freshwater lakes that provide fly and coarse fishing. The history of the lakes dates back approximately four hundred years. With over 200 acres of land, this family-run fishery provides you with the opportunity to fish in some of Shropshire’s most peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
Match Lake- From any of the 50 pegs on Match Lake, anglers of all skill levels may enjoy some of the best sport fishing in the area. The lake has depths up to 20 feet, and it fishes well throughout the year with regular match weights in excess of 50 pounds. Each peg is constructed out of a single solid stone, and four of the pegs are wheelchair accessible.
Furnace Lake is a mature lake that offers quality fish and a traditional style of recreational fishing. The lake is home to a large number of specimen fish. You can try your luck at luring one of the lake’s carp from the depths of the lake or by catching large Perch, Tench, and Roach.
Crucian Pit is a one-quarter acre pool with a healthy population of Crucians. The patient angler is going to have a lot of success fishing for these shy feeders.
Trout Fishing is the Hurst Farm game lake, set close to Bridgnorth in the county of Shropshire, and developed with the needs of fly fishermen in mind. The fly fishing lake, provides fishermen of all skill levels with outstanding fishing opportunities.
Natural lake supplied by springs and stocked with Rainbow Trout bred in Shropshire and are known for their fierce fighting. The lakes, which provide an abundance of natural fly life, are surrounded by a large number of mature trees.
Coarse fishing is free for residents while trout fishing has a 10% discount.
