Fishery Information
Situated 1 mile off the southwest coast of the Isle of Wight between the villages of Shorwell and Brightstone, Island Fish Farm is an angling complex and trout farm that also offers bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation.
This fishery comprises 4 separate waters. The main lake is 1 acre in size and is dedicated to fly fishing for rainbow trout. Catch and release is allowed for this water, but the owners encourage the anglers to take their catch by offering a reduced ticket price with the fish charged for by their weight. Fish smoking service and freezing facility are available for anglers who wish to collect their catch at a later time.
Covering 0.75 acre of water, the second lake has an island of willow trees and is known for carp fishing. It is home to mirror carp to 26 lbs and common carp to 24 lbs.
There are 2 small ponds on site that are socked with mixed coarse fish that are ideal for young anglers.
