Fishery Information

Brown, blue, and rainbow trout are available at Lakehill Fishery, which is located on Llyn Cyfynwy. Fly fishing is allowed from both the bank and from boats, with worm and spinning fishing permitted only from the bank.

There are landlocked salmon and brook trout in the lake, as well as other species. There are always a good number of specimen and double figure fish to catch in the big lake.

The Lodge Pool, a new fishing pool at the fishery, has also been opened.  It is completely private and secluded, making it ideal for the trout angler looking for a day’s escape. Despite the fact that it is located on the Lakehill grounds, this pool is completely separate from the main lake.
