Fishery Information

Just a couple of miles from Liverpool City Centre is Larkhill Gardens, which is largely occupied by a fishing lake. As with all Liverpool parks lake a permit is required which can be applied for using an online form. The permit is free and allows for fishing in all the parks in Liverpool.

This is a small park but a good-sized lake with overhanging trees in a picturesque setting that features many pegs. It is not known if the park is suitable for disabled anglers but if it follows the trend of other Liverpool parks, we expect it to cater for those in wheelchairs.

Information on this pond – in one of the smallest parks in Liverpool – and the fish in it is scarce, but we do know it is a former millpond on an estate so is likely to house carp. It’s a pleasant place to fish in the centre of a built-up area and is easy to reach by car or public transport.

What size do the fish go to?

We do not have current information on Larkhill Gardens Pond, although we gather this is a coarse fishing location.
