Fishery Information

Two lovely ponds with trees around make up the Long Copse Ponds, located in Spring Grove, at Great Bookham, Surrey.

The larger of the two ponds, Long Copse Top Pond, can accommodate up to 14 anglers. The pond is teeming with common carp, mirror carp, and even the occasional ghost carp. Reed beds dominate in the area, making it hard to land larger fish but it is still possible to catch double-digit fish. Other fish in the pond include Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, and Tench.

Long Copse Bottom Pond is the more popular of the two ponds with the younger anglers since it has a larger concentration of fish in comparison to the larger of the two ponds. Carp, Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, some nice Perch, and a few ornamental Goldfish, are the fish residing in this pond.
