Fishery Information

Manor Fisheries is situated in a picture-perfect location in the Weald of Kent, and it offers not only nice accommodation but also excellent coarse fishing. It has three lakes that are at least 25 years old and contain an abundance of fish. The lakes are exquisitely landscaped and thoughtfully designed, with bays, managed weed beds, rushes, and islands,

There are two magnificent specimen lakes that are very easy to access. In Lake 1 measuring 1.1 acres, there are a great number of large specimen Common and Mirror Carp. In Lake 2, which is 1.2 acres, there are a great number of large specimen Wels Catfish as well as large Common and Mirror Carp. Both lakes offer between eight and nine swims (including doubles), and the maximum number of anglers allowed in either lake is four or five. This ensures that neither lake is ever too crowded.

There are a substantial number of smaller carp in the 1.6-acre Mixed Lake 3, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 anglers. This lake also contains some outstanding roach, perch, rudd, crucians, and bream. This body of water is perfect for the angler who wants to spend the day fishing in relaxing settings without the stress of trying to reel in a trophy fish.

Night fishing is another option, but it is restricted to anglers who have apartment reservations or members of the club.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp to 30 lbs+, Catfish to 40 lbs+, Tench and Bream to 8 lbs+

What tactics work well?

It is preferable to use a little PVA string or bag rather than loose bait, which draws in the ducks. When the water temperature is really low, it is also effective to utilize smaller baits that have maggots attached to the end of them. Traditional baits such as luncheon meat, worms, sweetcorn, and other similar items will also be successful in bringing in fish.
