Fishery Information

The Pittlands Lakes Angling Club is a members-only, private fishing club located in Kent between the cities of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. The complex features three lakes that are available for coarse fishing, and each lake features an abundant fish population.

The club’s first lake, Lake A, is a favorite among seasoned anglers.  The lake has been there for about 25 years and contains roughly 18 swims, including two concrete ones. Reeds and bullrushes encircle the island in the middle of the pond, which creates a beautiful focal point for the area. Mirror, Common, and Crucian Carp, Bream, Perch, Tench, Gudgeon, Roach, and Rudd are some of the fish stocked in this body of water. This lake strictly prohibits fishing at night.

The largest of the three lakes is Lake C. It has around 35 swims, including two concrete ones and an island. During the fall and winter months, the lake serves as a setting for a variety of different fishing competitions as well as corporate competitions for smaller firms. Mirror, Common, and Crucian carp, as well as bream, perch, tench, gudgeon, roach, rudd, chub, and ide are stocked in this body of water. On this lake, night fishing is extremely popular, and there are additional electrical points provided for safety. It is recommended that you make reservations in advance to secure your spot.

There are around 35 swim areas in Lake C, two of which are made of concrete and have electrical points for night fishing. Mirror, Common, and Crucian carp, as well as Bream, Roach, Tench, Perch, Gudgeon, Rudd, Chub, and Ide, are the popular species in the lake. Because night fishing is so popular at this lake, making reservations in advance is recommended.
