Set in the picturesque and tranquil Mid Sussex countryside, More House Farm Fishery is a rapidly expanding fishery that boasts 5 beautiful lakes. Whether you are a pleasure or a match angler, you will surely have an excellent fishing experience here.

Built in 2007, Canal is a match lake that has a width of 15 metres and a depth of up to 6 feet. Built with the pole angler in mind, this water has 20 purpose-built swims, each of which has a built-in pole roller. Features of the lake include rushes and lilies on the far bank and down the inside. Fish species present include carp to over 20 lbs, perch to 3.5 lbs, skimmers, bream, tench, rudd and roach.

Sidewinder is another match lake that is home to silvers, rudd, roach, bream, tench, carp, barbel and chub. Perfect for summer and winter angling, this lake has 50 purpose-built swims. The water has also been stocked with F1 carp in the past few years, which is perfect for all year round fishing. Best baits include meat, corn, pellet, maggots and worms.

Built in 1980, Kingfisher is a spring-fed specimen lake that is home to carp, tench, perch, roach, bream and rudd. Boasting about 17 swims, this water is home to carp to over 40 lbs and is surrounded by green fields, large oak trees and abundance of wildlife. This lake is a members only water and open all year round. Day tickets and 24-hour session tickets are available for this water.

Dug out in 2020, Oaks and Dogwood are the newer waters on site. Oaks has 5 pegs and is home to carp to 30 lbs. On the other hand, Dogwood has 11 pegs and is also home to carp to 30 lbs and tench.

Night fishing is available for this fishery.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp go to over 40 lbs and perch to 3.5 lbs.

What tactics work well?

Pole fishing works well on Canal. Best baits for fishing on Sidewinder include meat, corn, pellet, maggots and worms.
