Mulbarton Village Pond

Address

The Common, Mulbarton, NR14 8, Norfolk, United Kingdom

Fishery Information

We love a village pond here at Fishery Guide and this one looks like a great little pond. These are the best way to get youngsters into fishing. This village pond is free. What could be better than that?

We recommend using basic tackle with light line and some maggots. Theres a mix of everything in here and there’s even a few goldfish that villagers have put in here over the years. If you catch one of these be sure to shout “instant win” as its always rare to catch one anywhere.

What size do the fish go to?

Roach to 1lb, rudd to 1lb, perch to 1lb, large head of bream. Occasional goldfish, tench to 3lb, a few carp up to 15 pounds. Large eels.

What tactics work well?

Maggots fished on a float will work well here. No fancy methods are needed.

What facilities are on site?

There are no facilities here as its just the local village pond.

Is parking available?

Yes, you can park in the village.
