The lake is well stocked with rainbow trout and offers easy fishing from clear, open banking. Access to the reservoir and parking facilities are both good.

To fish at Pant-yr-Eos Reservoir, you can join Islwyn and District Anglers online or in person at Greens Fishing Tackle, Pontllanfraith, Blackwood NP12 2BU. Day tickets for non-members are priced at £17.
